It’s actually sad that they didn’t bring home any award in mama this year, but on a brighter note it’s amazing how a lot of people appreciates their talent , as i can see in the comments, even the non midzy/non kpop fans were amazed by their talents. @@jessicatan1498 well yea, aespa's performance was just too simple. It's not aespa's fault tho but more SM for not putting budgets into it. I mean, the effects, the acting classes, the backup dancers, the choreography or song remix : all of these are expensive. Yet I guess SM put its budget on the... Snake. It could have been a waaay better, I mean aespa's concept has a lot of potential. I'm fan of both, itzy performance was the best! Sadly it doesn't count in mama winning process.

I'm not a Midzy but I can't believe they didn't receive the Best Female Performance Group award. This is literally the best performance of MAMA 2021 that I saw. ITZY is not only competing with other girl groups but also boy groups. They always pull off hard choreographies. Ryujin's part was so cool~ she's so talented.

I always think either Ryujin/Yeji or Lia/Yeji would compliment each other best as subunits, but honestly any combination of Itzy members would kill it! 5 doses of pure talent in this group.

Watching MAMA 2022 performances and I suddenly missed ITZY MAMA 2021. Itzy, the STANDARD

Itzy and Straykids really set the bar high when it comes to performing on stage. I SAID WHAT I SAID!! This stage alone deserves an award for itself. They never disappoint their fans and audience when it comes to their performance. 4TH GEN LEADERS INDEED

ITZY literally saved the show and yet they didn't win the award they deserved... But they are the winners of midzy's heart. I'm so proud of you girls you did great again.

One of the best dance performances ever and I can actually see it a lot clearer cos the stage at MAMA was pretty dark and difficult to take in the whole performance

Imo Itzy are best known for their dancing and amazing choreo and they did SO WELL this year then absolutely slayed this performance. As much as I liked the song savage, itzy whole heartedly deserved a win

They saved the whole Award show TBH, they showed what a REAL PERFORMANCE is. Even if they didn't win any award (rigged award show smh) they still proved their title as the "4th Generation Representative Performers.
