having just watched itzy's 2021 mama performance last night, i watched this and i must say, itzy's performance has always been top notch from the beginning. they just debuted months ago from this performance and from here we can see that they don't seem to be rookies. they have been called monster rookies when they debuted but today, itzy is a POWERHOUSE GIRL GROUP.

One of the most truthful comments I've ever seen in my life.

I'm not gonna lie. This is the first time that I've seen a girl group being this good at everything. They literally dance complex choreographies and routines with ease, maintain their vocals, maintain good visuals, and they are sooo entertaining too. Dang, JYPE never lied when they named this group ITZY (All in us) they have everything to offer us (The looks, the dance, the vocals, the charisma, and personality)

The perfect comment! For me they are the leaders of their generation. Cause when you say overall performer, I think Itzy can excel with other 4th Gen. They were rookies in this performance but they dont seem so.

Here's a list of reasons why all 5 girls KILLED this performance. 1. Yeji - Jaw dropping stage presence, dance, & stable voice and high belting notes. Complete control (over the audience O.O;;;!! ) Gazes into your soul. 2. Yuna - Always on time dancing to the music and always supplement's Yeji's powerful moves with well timed power moves herself. Never failing to perform with her unique voice. Killer looks. 3. Ryujin - Dripping tons of swag and style on vocals & dance moves. Audacious confidence. 4. Chaeryeong - Dancing queen & never fails to perform with her light/airy, but strong vocals. Introduces a very cute style of singing to the group as well as killer dance moves. 5. Lia - Vocal queen. Delivers high quality vocals with a lot of color (at a level which the other girls cannot). You might not know it, but she's also responsible for a lot of the background vocals & vocals heard in choruses. Stunning on screen visuals & facial expressions. May not be able to dance as well as the other girls, but syncs well with the entire group so that it is barely noticeable. All 5 girls can do all of the above without signs of tiring or dropping quality on what they bring. Truly talented group that not only bring glory (individual talents), but guts (a high level of training and discipline IE SKILL).

I was thinking the same thing. I mean the fact that you can't even hear the playback is so incredible and they even sang the high notes, most groups probably don't do high notes because of the choreo but omg they hit high notes like they're just singing in park on a bench like who else can do a high note with such a hard choreo only itzy

I don't want them to be overrated. I literally stanned them cause no one else would do. But after Wannabe a lot of toxic stans have gathered. Not only they targeted Lia's dancing, but they also stan in one. Moat of them are 0t1 that would eventually ruin the Midzy fandom. edit: apparently there are people who gave me the wrong take so I will make it clear, I am aware that a fandom will always consist a toxic fan, what I'm only trying to say is that _I'm worried_ to our fandom. If toxic fans suddenly overtake Midzy fandom it would be all over, so I want to make everyone else aware of this, especially this situation: There are a TON of people who are using ITZY to bash other girlgroup, and we should not let that happen. We must disclaim those fake fans who just uses Itzy as a defense to bash other girlgroups. That's what I'm actually trying to call out. edit2: when I said "I stanned them because no one else would do" is where I sympathise with these idols, they we're just rookies but they're rained of unnecessary hatred so that's why I stanned them.
